Breckenridge Hosts 2024 Freeride Junior Championship: Get Ready to Send It!
Prepare yourselves, freeride fanatics! The 2024 Freeride Junior Championship is about to explode into Breckenridge, Colorado, from April 7th to 14th. This is no ordinary event; it is the world’s largest freeride showcase, gathering over 350 elite junior ski and snowboard athletes from across North and South America. Without a doubt, this year’s competition promises an epic display of talent and fearless riding.
With Breckenridge’s prime location near Denver International Airport, organizers anticipate over 1,300 attendees. So, expect a week packed with high-energy action and unforgettable moments. Breckenridge, already renowned for its high alpine terrain and exceptional late-season snow, provides the perfect stage for our top-tier freeriders.
Furthermore, the action unfolds on Peak 6, an area steeped in freeride history. For a decade, this zone has hosted Junior and Qualifier 2* and 3* events. Now, for the first time, the 4* championship event will grace the legendary Rocky Mountain Region. Consequently, the chosen venues on Peak 6 boast steep and featured terrain, ensuring they challenge even the most seasoned athletes.
